James J Bolger, PhD, age 81, from Eden Prairie, MN. Beforehand from Duluth, Minnesota. Professor Emeritus of the College of Minnesota Medical College, Duluth Campus, died January 14, 2023.
Jim was a caring father and husband who cherished his household, good music and the UMD Bulldogs.
He was College of Minnesota Instructing Distinguished College Professor and a member of the Division of Household Drugs and Organic Behavioral Well being on the Duluth Campus of the College of Minnesota Medical College. He holds a BA from the College of St. Thomas in Psychology/Sociology and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the College of Minnesota.
His skilled tutorial journey started as Assistant Dean for Pupil Affairs on the Ohio Medical Faculty in Toledo. Dr. Bolger returned to Minnesota as Affiliate Dean for Curriculum on the new Faculty of Drugs, now the College of Minnesota College of Drugs, Duluth Campus. There, he served almost 50 years in numerous positions together with performing dean and interim dean, assistant dean and assistant dean, administrators, and division management positions.
Recognized nationally and internationally for his modern instructing packages, Dr. Bolger locations medical college students to reside with and be taught from household physicians. He spent a number of weeks every year touring higher Minnesota visiting college students throughout their rural scientific experiences; He was a welcome face to many training medical doctors when he made his periodic nation rounds.

Sisters, Anne Skane, Kathryn Magnuson (David), Sisters-in-law, Muriel Sampson, Laura R. Smith, Mary Carlson Higgins (Bob), and Kathryn McNeil. Brothers-in-law Clifford Sampson, Roy Sampson (Jenny), many nieces and nephews, nephews and cousins.
Died by father, William J. Sister Mary Andrews, Brothers Dan Callanan, Dan Scahen; Gary Sheldon Carlson, James W. Sampson, and lots of extra aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A particular household service will probably be held across the Christian burial on February 4, 2023.
A Public Celebration of Life will probably be held from 11 a.m. to three p.m. on Saturday, Might 27, 2023 on the McNamara Alumni Heart on the College of Minnesota, 200 SE Oak Road, Minneapolis, MN.
